Hi! I’m a Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence student at the University of Huddersfield.
I’m passionate about computers and artificial intelligence, and I’m interested in pursuing a career in this field because it allows me to explore my passion for technology while also being relevant to my future career. What excites me most about computer science is that it allows me to combine creativity with logic, problem-solving with coding, and learning something new every day.
Throughout my university journey, I have gained a solid understanding of programming, data structures, software development, and artificial intelligence development. Full-stack development is one of my favorite aspects of computer science, as it allows me to combine both the logical and creative aspects of building something new, from a clean backend to an engaging frontend. Artificial intelligence is also one of my favorite topics, as it allows me to explore ways to make things smart!
Throughout the past months, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that have helped me improve as a developer, from building small-scale web platforms to working with AI-powered models. Each project has helped me learn something new, from improving my problem-solving skills to working with others to complete a project.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I spend a lot of time learning by myself, from taking online classes to learning about the latest research in AI. I enjoy learning new things, from new frameworks to new tools and technologies, as it allows me to push myself as a developer further. One of my favorite things to learn about is how to use technology for good, from ethical AI to sustainable computing.
When I am not working, I enjoy staying active, from playing basketball to going for a walk and exploring nature. It is usually during these times that I come up with my best ideas or solutions to a problem.
Computer science isn’t just a job; it’s a way of thinking. It’s a way of creating things that actually make a difference, a way of learning that’s ongoing, and a way of being a part of a world that’s always changing.
